Robert Hilton Kenny, also known as “MR BOB” the clown, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 12, 2019 at the age of 97. Bob lived in Austin but was originally from Pittsburgh, PA and was a true Steelers fan. He was a food salesman for Kraft Foods for over 30 years. He and his wife, Evelyn (Kyser) moved to Austin after both had retired.

You could always see Mr. Bob in the Veteran’s Day Parade on Congress Avenue. The red nose of Mr. Bob has been worn by family and friends in his honor in numerous events throughout the year. Everyone who knew him shared his love of life and laughter.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife Evelyn and his daughter Mo Kamerer. He is survived by his children Robert (Barb) Kenny, Richard (Mary) Kenny, Eileen (Michael) Farris, along with his grandchildren Kelly (Julie Fielder) Kamerer, Beth (Bob) Priest, Geoff (Natalie) Kenny, Jennifer (Mark) Kidd, James (Katherine) Farris, and nine great-grand children.
