She was an active and long-time member of Ridgetop Baptist Church. She was a very nurturing person and always helped those in need. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed by all her knew her.
Mary is preceded in death by her son, William W. Crooks, Jr. She is survived by her husband, William W. “Bill” Crooks; daughters, Belinda (Steve) Means and Janiece Ingram; grandchildren, David Ingram, Derrick Crooks, Brian Crooks, Alicia Jallah, Michael Ingram, and Jessica Crooks; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Crooks, Daisy Crooks, and Mary Crooks. She is also survived by her sister, Bobbye Jo Summers and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation to be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, Pflugerville. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ridgetop Baptist Church.
