Linda A. Dryden

Linda A. Dryden was born October 27, 1937. She was adopted by Allen & Florence Ainsworth. She married the love her life and soul mate Edward R. Dryden Jr "Big Ed" in 1962. Linda Gail Dryden of Lago Vista, TX went to join Big Ed August 8, 2022.

Linda was at one time an avid bowler. She enjoyed ceramics. She loved to sunbathe and lived in the sun. She and Big Ed would often take spontaneous long road trips. They had been foster parents to over 100 children and opened their home to unwed mothers.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward in 2019.

Linda is survived by her sons: Edward R. Dryden III and wife Martha of Pflugerville,TX, former daughter in law Patricia Schmidt Dryden of Montgomery, TX, Michael S. Dryden and wife Kathleen of Round Rock, TX.

3 Grandchildren. Grandson: Blake Dryden and wife Amanda of Montgomery, TX. Granddaughters: Alexandria "Lexie" Wirt and husband John of Jarrell, TX, Samantha Dryden and wife Kacey of Pflugerville,TX.

2 Great Grandchildren: Jensen and Jamison Wirt.

A visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home, 14501 North Interstate 35, Pflugerville, Texas. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Palm Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery, 2500 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, Texas 78665.
