Hilda Chesson Beach

She was born May 6, 1922 in Rayne, Louisiana to Oliver Chesson and Doris Thibodeaux. She was the middle daughter of a family of 7 siblings. She spent her life as a devoted servant of Jesus Christ. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her granddaughters, Kim Nugent-Anderson and son-in-law Austin Anderson, and Jacque Hook and son-in-law David Hook. She is survived by four great-grandchildren, Austin and Alex Anderson, and Jessica and Gillian Hook. She also is survived by her daughters-in-law, Anne Nugent and Marla Collum Krovich and grandson, James Collum. Hilda is predeceased by her devoted husband of 35 years, Herbert Beach, Jr., and her three sons, Leo Henry Nugent, Jr. (Jay), Wayne Collum and James Collum.

The family would like to thank the Parson’s House Assisted Living staff for providing a loving, supportive living community, as well as the amazing team from Halcyon Hospice, for their devoted, loving care.

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday, June 25, 2017 at 3:30 pm at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
