Gene Hill

A celebration of her life will be held on at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas.

Gene is survived by her daughters, Glenda Erwin and Shawna Hill Posadas, son in law Darren Posadas, her grandchildren, Dylan and Kai Posadas. She was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Hill, grandsons Jason Wayne Erwin, Michael Lee Kirby, and her great-grandson Zachary Michael Kirby.

Gene was a dedicated member of her community, giving back through her involvement in SALT (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) and as an active member of The Red Hat Society. She found great joy in participating in Red Hat functions, embracing the opportunity to dress up and enjoy the company of fellow members.

In addition to her family, Gene leaves behind a legacy of service and camaraderie. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gene's memory, supporting the ongoing efforts to combat cancer.
