Elisha Dancer

Elisha accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church in Seattle. Elisha was preceded in death by her parents-Roscoe Jr. and Patricia Richmond, and Grandparents - Roscoe Sr. and Delma Richmond.

Elisha attended Garfield High School in Seattle where she graduated with a GPA of 3.9. After graduation, Elisha attended Washington State University where she received her bachelor’s degree. Elisha was married and to the union, two children were born, Aja Wiley and Amir Wiley. Later, she relocated her family to Pflugerville, Texas where she was employed with the Texas Health and Human Service Commission for 18 years.

On the 28th of November 2015 on the sandy beaches of the Turks and Caicos, Elisha was happily married to James Dancer who was her love and partner in life.

Elisha touched many lives with her generosity and passion and had a love and caring for children. Elisha’s presence would light up a room when spending time with her family and friends sharing her enthusiasm for the Seattle Seahawks, dancing and playing with Yogi.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Dancer of Pflugerville, TX, her five children Ebony McAllister of Houston, TX, Aja Wiley of Fort Worth, TX , Amir Wiley of Austin TX, Brittani Dancer Gosey (Brantley) of Hutto, TX, and Erica Dancer of Pflugerville, TX, her special little one that she loved and cared for, Amiri Mcafee, her loving sister Lori Richmond of Austin, TX, her niece Tiana Carroll of Austin, TX, her Uncle Larry Richmond and Aunt Karen Richmond of Memphis, TN, four Grandchildren, Sister-in-Laws, Brother-in-Laws, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and her adoring Mother-in-Law, Mrs. Annie Dancer of Starkville, MS.
