Born on January 31, 1951, Diana was the only child of the late Irma Harris and Louis White.
She grew up in Austin, Texas and attended the Austin Public Schools graduating in the top 10% of her class from Austin High School in 1968. She went on to graduate from the University of Texas at Austin where she received a BA in Psychology and MA in Child Psychology.
On December 23, 1973 she married Lucius Alexander and was on her way to fulfilling her heart’s desire to become a wonderful wife and loving mother. To this union three children were born, Lucius (Lumpy) Alexander, Christopher Alexander and Christina Alexander. As the mother of these three blessings from God (wonderful children), she supported all their endeavors showering them with love and encouragement. Both Diana and Lucius spent many hours at endless school activities in support of their children. She was very church-, community- and civic-minded. Diana was a member of Round Rock Church of Christ, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., and a member of Eastern Star.
Diana was a Disability Determiner for the State of Texas for 28 years until she retired in 2003. As a state employee, Diana received numerous awards for her professionalism and services rendered.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
