When you moved away from my grandmother's apartments we lost touch then I found you a few years ago in FB and ever since then we kept in touch. My dearest nephew I will miss you. I've known you over  for 29 years. We worked in the same building. I worked for the Banking Department of the State of Texas and you worked for the Savings and Loan Department of the State of Texas. Enjoyed talking to you always during our breaks and lunch. My advice to you was seek the most of educating yourself. There is no limit.

My little brother you left us grieving but with beautiful memomories,the one that brings me comfort is the time we as crazy teenagers were at great grandmas house,and you being the prankster always, had her thinking I  was your girlfriend ,it was late and we were going clubbing she was furious with you telling you to take this young girl back to her home, All the cousins were laughing after seeing great grandma chasing you around with a broom,after telling her who I was ,she didnt recognize me it was awhile since I had visited her. You always were the prankster always joking ,laughing.You definitely lived life to its fullest,and that brings me happiness thats how I want to remember you,Much love my little brother forever in my heart, May your soul find rest. It is difficult to find the words to describe the type of person David embodied. The quality and type of disclosures that were had were truly unique to his person.  I choose to remember David as the giving individual whom would take the time to check in on my parents and someone who knew the value of family. Never the tamed soul, he was ferociously protective of those he kept in his circle. Despite your departure, your spirit remains in the many lives you have touched. Until we meet again, rest in peace in the hereafter. I'll miss you my dear brother. Much love, Serina.



I loved David so much. He was absolutely one of my favorite people to work with at Texas Military Department. Always helping people and the hardest working guy I know, but he always took time out to talk to me. We had some very enjoyable discussions. David, I miss you and we'll see you soon.

David was an amazing man, a top notch employee and a dear friend. He took such great care of everyone he loved and he was so giving of himself. He was at my side for so many difficult and challenging times at the Texas Military Department. His wisdom and sage advice served me well. I will miss him forever, his passing leaves a huge void. I pray the family will take peace and comfort knowing that David was so well loved. Till we meet again Brother!

This doesn't feel real.  You were one of the last people I said farewell to my last week at the office, promising you that we would hook you up with Girl Scout PB sandwich cookies.  It brings tears to my eyes reading all the lovely memories your friends and family are posting, you brought a lot of joy to people's lives.  You always had a smile and a kind word for me, even on days when I was feeling not in the mood for chatting or getting grouchy about a process.  I hope you are wrapped in the warm embrace of those who you missed while you walked this plane of existence.  Blessings to all who knew and loved him, may you find comfort in all your beautiful memories and stories shared.

David will always come to the house on holidays to leave my son a gift.always arguing with my son paco whats up jr i not paco yes you are paco back and forth until David wins ok ok i am paco 😂 lol.he was full of life. Always there to help out if he can .THIS IS PACO .

Where to begin it’s so crazy that in March it would only be 1 year of knowing each other laughing at the hotel we were all staying at in Oklahoma for mija’s 18th birthday from Benny locking keys in the truck to you saying oh hell yeah I like this one Joey lol you told me I feel as if we have always known each other from that day on text messages everyday just to make us laugh you my brother gave me a shoulder to cry on because you never judged me I lost a brother but God gained an amazing ANGEL te amo no te vayas a mortificar porque nosotros siempre vamos a cuidar a Danny {PINKY PROMISE } 

I am the friend that David & Danny surprised when they came to Dallas to help feed the homeless. David tapped me on the shoulder & handed me a TWINKIE...I immediately knew who it was. He didn't come empty handed either..he had a car filled with clothes, reusable bags & fruit. I recalled him saying - I brought fruit instead of cooked food because of the long 2.5 hour drive . The distance didn't matter..what mattered to David as always is --HELPING OTHERS, regardless of the miles. 
I could finally put a face to a name. You see...David & I only knew eachother through social media/our couponing group. But over the last 4-5 years we formed a friendship. We had so much in common..we both had small puppies named Milo...we both loved without reason....we both filled our "love tanks" by giving/helping others...we smiled through the pain....we simply love life & people!! My "Twinkie" left his footprint in the world & in my heart.

One of my memories that I remember of David and I was the trip to Las Vegas, it was a family trip now that I recall.  In my memory we went to the casinos, the shows, and we ate,  walked around and had a good old time. Along on the trip David was accompanied by Dennis his friend (el chinito), and Carmela David's mother.  We laughed told jokes, and as usual David was always making us laugh, and being his silly usual self.  I will forever remember this day, and I still can't belief he is gone.  Well you may be gone, but you leave us with treasure memories.  Love you always Sincerely, Norma your cousins wife.  RIP 

Oh David, I can’t believe this. Words can’t describe 😭😭😭😭I met you and Danny at a Coupon get together and we texted after that when I needed help you all for were there. This is so UNREAL….. Lord please put your arms Around Danny and comfort him…  May you rest and we will never forget you.

My brother I'm still lost knowing your not here. All the plans, all the trips, all the things we planned enjoying family and friends as we enjoyed life.I laughed today remembering our coupon trips and the places we had to go to make sure everyone got those discounts. We had some great talks there and back. There's not enough paper to write all the memories you have left behind. Just know they will forever be in our hearts and minds. And because of you this world is a better place as those you impacted continue to pay it forward.

Oh David. I already miss our texting,  maybe not daily, but every other day. Either loving or just being silly. I still can't believe your gone. My kids miss their Davy Davy oooo oooo and lub (love, it was an inside thing) you to the moon.

No day is ever the same without you. No words can express how much I miss you. No touch is the same as your hug. Just for you, I have brushed my crazy hair more so you don't have to get on to me about my hair upstairs. No, I don't need a brush. I miss you telling me you'd by me a brush for Christmas all the time. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I love and miss you so much already. This is my 3rd attempt to write something about my cousin David, but to me he was my baby brother.  David was a very gentle soul and his spirit well a good one. We grew up on the streets of El Paso a place we called El Segundo Barrio. When we were kids David was a very shy boy, and timid, but I was always there as the mother hand so to speak.  We my sister Pat, David, and Mando his brother grew up in the streets where the projects were, but soon we grew up, and David left El Paso right, after he graduated, and left for Austin, Texas. David went to the military, and then from there we lost touch for a little while, and, well our hearts never depart, because when you grow up together you know when your little brother has got your back too.  Anyways just want to express how much I will miss my little brother he left us to soon, but now resides with the creator upstairs called Jesus Christ. I will always keep you in my heart cuz, and your silly self. So for now RIP,  now your with Grandma Maria your( aunt or tia), and Great Grandma Conchita, but to you your Grandmother I am pretty sure they were waiting for you with open arms to welcome you to God's Kingdom. You went to soon cuz, but God has other plans for you upstairs.  I love you chingos, as you use to tell me.  Ditto

My deepest condolences Danny and the rest of David’s family.  David was an amazing man. He was the most generous man I ever met. He came over several times when I was going through my cancer treatments. He would help everyone that needed it. You will truly be missed friend. Still in disbelief but know you are already watching over everyone. Love and hugs Danny. ♥️♥️♥️
