Daniel C. Salinas III, 52, died October 21, 2012 in Pflugerville, Texas. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Daniel was the son of Daniel Jr. and Betty (Bailey) Salinas. His father preceded him in death, as did his brother, Christopher Salinas.
Employed with the State of Texas for 12 years, Daniel was a manager and computer programmer. Before a debilitating brain injury, Daniel was an avid fisherman, pool player, and Stevie Ray Vaughn fan. His strongest passion was art through his ability to capture the essence of nature through a camera lens.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Candy Salinas; mother, Betty Salinas; grandmother, Mary Richardson, uncle, Norman Bailey; daughter, Ashley Standridge; and 8 month old granddaughter, ShiAnne Standridge.
Our appreciation to Pflugerville Nursing and Rehabilitation and Elgin Nursing and Rehabilitation for their loving care of Daniel.
