Brandon Keith Martinez, 34, of Austin, TX, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born August 20, 1983 in San Marcos, TX to his loving parents, Armando and Celinda Martinez. He graduated from Pflugerville High School in 2001 and Texas State University in 2006 where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity.
Brandon is survived by his parents Armando and Celinda Martinez of Pflugerville; his brother Gabriel Martinez; his maternal grandmother Mary Elva Medina; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his fraternal grandparents, Saragosa and Eulogia Martinez of Beeville, Texas.
Pallbearers will be Cory Johnson, Bret Beitler, Josh Strickland, Luis Guardia , Michael Beitler and Joe Meller. Honorary pallbearers are his cousins, Russell Martinez, Eric Gonzales, Carlos Martinez, Nathan Gonzales, Alix Martinez and Aaron Perez.
Brandon worked as a realtor in the Austin area for several years. Through his profession he had the privilege and honor of helping people find their dream home and throughout this process many lasting friendships were made. He experienced great joy in helping his clients achieve their goal of being a homeowner. Brandon was such a positive person who was so full of life. He was always smiling and his infectious laughter will be missed by all. He was truly an inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know him. Brandon’s philosophy of life was to “seize the moment and live every day like it was your last.”
Visitation will be at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas from 11:00 am-7:00 pm. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm.
We will gather at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church on Monday, October 2, 2017 for service. The church address is 1520 N. Railroad Ave., Pflugerville, Tx. Interment will follow immediately after mass at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Tx.
Immediately following interment, we will return to St. Elizabeth Catholic Church Parish Hall for a luncheon and a celebration of life.
