Ashley Lauren Aleman

Ashley graduated from Pflugerville High School in 2009. She attended Austin Community College where she was studying Radiology. She was employed at Woods Fun Center, where she quickly was accepted as family. Ashley had a passion for fashion and cosmetics. She was always flawless with her hair and make-up. She wanted to teach others her skills and was in the process of launching YouTube videos for that perfect look. She loved all types of music and even self-taught herself to play the acoustic and electric guitar. When she wasn’t in school or work, her other passion was spending time with her boyfriend, Robin Burke, whom she loved and found joy and happiness in her relationship. She also loved spending time with her family. Especially Sundays; that was family day for barbequing at home and spending quality time with her parents, brother, sister, nephew and nieces.

Ashley is preceded in death by her aunt and godmother, JoAnn Almanza; grandfather Matias Almanza and father David Thomas Aleman.

She is survived by her mother, Arleen Valle and step-father Sidney Valle; brother Garrett Diaz and fiancé Heather Bazan; sister Crystal Aleman; nephew Tyler Garrett Diaz and nieces Alexa and goddaughter Aliah Villanueva, all of Pflugerville. Grandmother Ophelia Esparza of Austin, grandparents Ben and Nancy Aleman and step-sister Natalie of Austin. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many close friends that loved her dearly. She will be greatly missed by all. Our beautiful angel is now in God’s heaven.

Ashley will lie in state throughout the day on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Cook-Walden Capital Parks and the family will receive friends from 7 - 9 PM that evening. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 29, 2012 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Austin; burial will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.

Following the interment a reception will be held at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church's parish hall.
