Mother Annie Mae Taylor, 84 years of age, was born November 17th, 1931 in Upton Texas Bastrop County. She married Papa Floyd Taylor Sr. in 1952. They had a flourishing and dedicated marriage of 64 years. Mother and Papa Taylor later moved to Austin, Tx. where she lived until she passed away on May 29, 2016.
Mother Taylor had a special interest in art and sewing. She also had a strong love for gardening, homemade cooking, family gatherings, and for hearing and reading the Word of God. She was an active parent with A.I.S.D. and a city council 4 member.
Mother Taylor was very optimistic. Her faith in the Lord was strong. She loved Him and always saw a positive outcome in any circumstance…even unto death.
She leaves cherished memories as a precious wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Mother Taylor leaves behind husband Floyd Taylor Sr.; Sons: Floyd Jr., Roy, Robert, Willie and Bobbie Taylor; Daughters: Missionary Margaret Mims and deceased Minister Mary Ann Taylor; Siblings: Melvin(deceased), Joe (deceased), Bennie (deceased), Olie Mae, John, Adie B, and Daniel (deceased); and many family and friends.
