Alicia Pena Gonzalez

Alicia Pena Gonzalez, 91, of Austin, Texas passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with graveside services immediately following at Cook-Walden/Memorial Hill Cemetery located at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Howard Lane.

Alicia was a friend to all whose lives she touched. She enjoyed going to the spa with her girlfriends, shopping, and she loved ceramics. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family immensely. She instilled good values in her children and grandchildren that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Alicia is survived by her children, Nora Lanford, Edna Sifuentes, Tomas L. Gonzalez, Jr. (Sofie), Mario Gonzalez (Annie), and Roberto Gonzalez (Bobbie); grandchildren, Curtis Lanford, Marcus Lanford, Michael Heath, Jeffery Heath, Kelly Sifuentes, Tomas H. Gonzalez, Aaron K. Gonzalez, Janie M. Torrez, Jr., L. Gonzalez, Jarrod R. Garringer, Heath L. Garringer, Michelle Womble, Mario Gonzalez, Jr., and Anica Lewis; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tomas L. Gonzalez; parents, Eduardo G. Pena and Guadalupe S. Pena; granddaughter, Jessica Gonzalez; and all her siblings.
