It is with great sadness that the family of Nora “Yvonne” Sheppard announces her passing on March 25, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Munro Sheppard (2004), they shared a love that lasted over 50 years. Mother to Stephen Sheppard (Marilyn), Timothy Sheppard (predeceased), Daniel Sheppard, Esther Wilson, David Sheppard and Mary Sheppard (Geoff Carere). Dear daughter of Clive and Eva Edwards, sister to Ron Edwards, Dora Crofts and Joan McKeiver, all predeceased. Grandmother to Daina, Stephanie, Earl, Michael and Norah and great-grandmother to Aida, Archie, Ruby, Charlie, Maisie and Timmy.
Visitation will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, March 27. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 pm on Thursday, March 28 at Edmison Heights Bible Chapel, 939 Hilliard Street, Peterborough. Interment at Rosemount Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
