Peacefully at Extendicare Peterborough on Friday, May 25, 2012 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Robinson (1977) for over 40 years. Dear mother of Wayne Robinson and his wife Jacquie, Sheila and her husband Duane Hall, Diana and her husband Mervin Ellis, Glennis and her husband Jim Wells and the late Richard Robinson. Loving Nana of ten; Great-Nana of eleven and Great-Great-Nana of one. Dear sister of Clara; predeceased by her siblings Bill, Greta, Loretta, Peggy, Edward, Eva, Harold, Howard and Helen. Rena was one of the first lady welders at CGE “Genelco”; during the “War Effort” she sewed flags at the J.J. Turner Building. She was also a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 20 years, a golfer, card player and she loved to dance and travel. The last few years were a great struggle for her but she always had a big smile for you. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 5-8 pm and Thursday, May 31, 2012 beginning at 12:00 pm followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 pm of COMSTOCK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street.
