Peacefully at PRHC with her children surrounding her with hugs, on March 28, 2023. The beloved wife of the late Melville Richard Headon. Dear mother to Cheryl Kralik (Walter), Nancy King (Peter), Bill (Deb), and the late Robert James. Predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Stewart and sister Lillian Back of Las Vegas. Much loved Grandmother to Leigh (Nima), Kyle (Laura), Laura, Rob (Marie Pier), Kennedy. Great Grandmother to Nico, Ellya, Sebastian, Thorfinn, Hadrain and Alexie. Survived by her brother James (Sheila) Stewart of Ottawa. She will be missed by many family members for her kind heart and her warm smile. Noreen loved to sing and was an active member of Trinity United Choir for 50 years. She supported Mel in Rotary and was a Rotary Anne, giving of her time to the community and always willing to help out. Over the years she had knit many pairs of mittens, all donated to help keep little hands warm, you could always find her knitting. The family welcome friends at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre on Friday April 7th for a Celebration of Life Reception from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated.
