Peacefully, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Pamela MacLeod (née Kennedy). Loving father of Tammy (Rick), Kelly (Steve) and Shane (Jade). Proud Papa of Connor, Quinn, Patience, Mackenzie, Brooklyn, Kylee, Kya, Thornley, and Willow. John is survived by his brother-in-laws Terry and Keith; and several nieces and nephews.
John was an avid sportsfan, and always had a ball game or hockey game on. He also enjoyed watching horse races and going to the casino. He liked to play the Lotto (even though he never won). His family remembers his fondness for jokes and for making others laugh.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 2, from 2-4 for a gathering in his honour at the Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge St.
