It's with great sadness of the passing of this sweet gentle man. For over 15 yrs he's been giving me hugs and a kiss at pool. I will miss his smile and humour. My deepest condolences going out to his family and friends. He will be so missed.

I was fortunate enough to have seen your dad a year ago when I was in Toronto visiting. It had been many years since I had seen him but he made my husband, grandson and I feel very welcome in his home. It has also been many years since I have seen any of you but do have many fond memories of all of you boys and Aunt Lil and Uncle Ian growing up. It is a sad time for us left with wonderful memories of a special man.  We celebrate Ian's life here on earth.  It is a happy day in heaven as Ian is welcomed by family and friends.

I was so sorry to hear about Ian passing on, he will be missed by a great number of people. He always had something good to say about almost any situation

I'm so saddened to hear that this amazing man has become an angel..Ian tought me to play pool in a man's sport..there wasn't very many women playing pool 20 yrs ago...because of him I am the player I am today...I will truly miss the way his smile would light up the room and I will miss his weekly bear hugs that greeted me at the pool hall...I am a better person because of you...I will miss out talks and laughs but I know you are smiling down on us with Murph and bill by your side...God bless his family and his soul....till we meet again my friend xo

My husband and I have known Ian since our kids were in hockey and grade school. We shared the odd party over the years and later Gary played pool in a league with Ian. The one thing that I will always remember about him was his most gentlemanly manners. I'm sure you will be missed by all. RIP Ian.

My sincere condolences to all his sons, daughter in laws, grandchildren, sister in laws, nieces and nephews He was such a lovely man with a smile that said "Welcome".  He has left to join his siblings......what a wonderful party they will have to honour his arrival. May you all find comfort in the many memories and stories you have to share with each other. RIP Uncle Ian.

My Uncle Ian was an amazing man. He taught me so many things like my first time water skiing,  driving a ski doo. I remember all the weekends we went to his and Auntie Lil's house in Innisville  and camped in the back yard singing songs and caught fire flies with the boys.  I remember when they had chickens and we could got get eggs for out breakfast.  His dog Tippy when she had puppies. there is so many more memories but I will stop here.  Miss you Uncle Ian love you always.
