Passed away peacefully at Henley House, St. Catharines, on Monday February 18, 2019 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Joan McKee (nee Buss).
Loving father of Alan McKee (Beverly) of Calgary, Nancy Buckham (David)
of Burlington, Karen Charlebois (Del) of Newcastle and Brian McKee of
St. Catharines. Proud grandfather of Meghan, Samantha, Sara, Conner, Kelly and
Hayley. Brother of Margaret Hooper (Peterborough), the late Muriel
Johnston and the late Jean Mewhinney.
Harold will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father,
experienced educator, water colour artist as well as an Ordained Deacon. Since his ordination in 1976 Harold served in churches as an Honorary Assistant Deacon in locales where he lived. He dedicated his life to the pursuit of adult education within school boards in Ontario and Manitoba, teaching grade school, high school and community colleges.
Harold will be missed by all who knew him and remembered as the loving and
kind man that he was.
A private family service will be held.
If desired, donations to the Alzheimer/Dementia Society of Canada, the Canadian Cancer Society or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by Harold’s family.
