Remembering Gerry…❤️.  her family lived on Stanley Ave..I lived on Rogers St..not too far away. The twins always came to my birthday parties ..starting at 5 yrs old I think..& I to theirs. All these yrs we never forget our childhood friends..up till our sons became friends playing hockey..till I visited her at her apt at St Jos…(was exact spot when I worked there) 😁

We also went to Del Garry Park for
Weekly concerts.

I’ve known Gerry & Marj my whole life growing up, They on Stanley Ave, me on Rogers St...we were Hockey moms where we reconnected, & got to know the boys. 
Was visiting at her apt. Earlier this year with Marj, where we reconnected again..picked up where we left off.

Greg, Dean and families.  We, as well as our children Jennifer and Bill,  wish to provide our condolences on the passing of Gerry.  She was a very good neighbor, always had a smile on her face.  Thanks to the installation of your family pool, our back yard became much improved (and the kids enjoyed the invite for a swim).   We had a great visit at Captain Jack's a few months ago and she hadn't changed a bit, still a happy lady.  Wishing you all well, Dan & Eleanor Lavigne.

Dear Greg, Dean and family,
On behalf of ourselves and our family we are sending our deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother. Although our friendship with Gerry started on McClennan St it lasted long past Gerry's time on McClennan.  We have so many great memories of everyone swimming in her pool and the times she would come up and hang out with our family at the cottage. Over the last few years as our mobility decreased making it difficult for us to visit her, Gerry would continue to show up at our door with a big smile and a box of donuts. We will miss her visits so much. Your mother was truly a very special person and we will be thinking of you at this very difficult time.

In respect of the passing of Geraldine Findlay, I'd like to offer condolences to the entire family during this time of bereavement. Sorry to learn Gerry's journey on earth has come to an end. I first met her in 1988 and always enjoyed her cheerful friendliness at the Detachment.  Would see her occasionally around Peterborough and enjoyed a pleasant chat.

While living on McClennan Street, Gerry became a very good friend of my parents (Roger & Pauline) along with the Bowmans & Tuckers.
