Fredrick "Fred" Arnold Daniels

Fred passed away quietly in his 86th year at PRHC Palliative Care on Thursday, June 29th, 2017. Fred was the beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Barter). Loving son of the late Ira and the late Rosetta (nee Wease) Daniels. Step-son of Vennie Hendley. Dear brother of Luella Hicks (late Ken) of Peterborough and the late Archie Daniels(late Norma). Proud uncle of Kevin Hicks (Marilyn) of Mississauga, Terry Hicks (Nancy) of Connecticut, USA, Wayne Daniels of Brandon, Manitoba; and the late Cheryl Hicks(1966) and great uncle to 4 nephews and great-great uncle to 2 nephews. Special friend of Gord and Ellie Steele. Fred worked for many years for the Department of Transportation (Highways) and on his retirement he became a volunteer driver for many years for Community Care and dialysis patients. He lived for the past 6 months at Peterborough Retirement Residence. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 8, 2017 from 12:00 p.m.-12:45 p.m., followed by a service at 1:00 p.m. at the COMSTOCK-KAYE Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge Street.
