Peacefully, at Princess Gardens on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the age of 91. Beloved partner of George Watson. Predeceased by her husbands Hugh “Jim” Semple and Bill Hamilton. Loving mother of Dr. Hugh Semple (Katherine Rankin), Stuart Semple (Dianne), Virginia “Ginny” Clark(David) and Carolyn Green. Proud grandmother of Claire, Mitchell, Isabelle, Spencer, Jordan, Janel, Stephanie (Jason), Sandy, Teri, Erin, David, Angus, and Kirsty; and great-grandmother of Noah, Alida, and Liam. Dear sister of Enid Alty, the late Bryan Fines, and the late Lewis Fines. Lovingly remembered by close friend Josephine Mewett. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In keeping with Elaine’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 360 Reid Street, on Friday at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. Special thank you to the staff and nurses of Princess Gardens for their kindness.
