Doreen Gladys McIntyre Harrison

HARRISON, Doreen - Died peacefully at home, in her 92nd year, with her daughter and sister at her bedside, on August 12, 2010. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Lillian McIntyre of Weston Ontario. She was predeceased by her loving husband Cecil George Harrison in 1995, her best friend Joseph Mayer Diteljan in 2009, and brother Donald McIntyre in 1995. She was the loving mother of David Harrison and wife Lynn of Hastings, Paul Harrison and wife Lynn of Brampton and Patti Jones and husband Larry Jones of Norland. Lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren: Catherine Harrison of Toronto, Sandra Harrison of Brampton, Kimberley Galbraith of Orangeville, Amanda Jones of Brechin and Andrew Jones of Rama. 3 great grandchildren: Abigail Galbraith, Brianna Galbraith and Layla Jones-Ward. Dear sister Shirley McIntyre of Bedford, N.S. Friends are invited to call at the Kaye Funeral Memorial Chapel 539 George Street N on Wednesday August 18th from 6 - 9pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday August 19th at 10:30am at the Anglican Church of St. Luke, 566 Armour Road, Peterborough. Canon Ron Davidson will officiate. There will be a brief visitation before the service from 10 - 10:30am. Donations in her memory can be made to the New Peterborough Health Centre. Donations to be sent to the Kaye Funeral Home.
