Dear Gail,

I have now moved to Breslau Ontario from Elmira Ontario after 40 years.  You were a childhood friend of our family but mostly Sharon my sister.  Sharon is still living in Minneapolis.   Paul is living in British Columbia, but Vivian is in a nursing home in Barrie Ontario.

Sharon and I are not on facebook but Paul is.   I have wonderful memories of our families together and I pray for you and your brothers and Sister Crystal.

May God continue to minister through you as you continue on your adventure with God each day.

I was so very sorry to hear of Don's passing. I have many fond memories of his time with us at Grace United in Caledonia, his duets with Flo Earl and the Bible Studies at the Manse to mention two.  May your faith console you and give you peace at this sad time.

Gail - I extend my sincere sympathy to you and your family with the news that Don has died.  He and I went back many years to Mark Street United Church days when he was their Student for the Ministry and I was the Church organist.  Luckily we linked up again via Facebook and humoured each other with jokes and quips - - he always had a twinkle in his eye which likely helped him through many anxious and sad times during his life.  He had some quiet understanding when we lost our son two years ago and his heart ached as you folks have endured the same type of family event. Don was such a ray of joy and caring as the pastor at Lochlin United Church many, many years ago.  An informal picture of him remained at the back of the church for decades thereafter.
