Cindy Zatorski

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Cindy Zatorski (nee Richardson). After a long struggle with cancer, she passed peacefully at PRHC in the early hours of March 29, 2025, with her family by her side. She was 68 years old.

Cindy was the heart of our home and family. She was married to her husband, Rick for 41 years, and together they raised their two daughters, Katie (Terry) and Kelly (Wayne) at their home in Young’s Point. Becoming a grandmother was the greatest joy of her life, she was a devoted ‘Gamby’ to Joel and Andie, by whom she will be forever loved and missed.

Cindy is predeceased by her father, Jack Richardson, her mother and stepfather, Kelly and John Bowes, and her youngest sister, Jacqueline Richardson. She was the oldest of of five girls, and will be deeply missed by her sisters Paula (Gord), Anna-Louise, and Mary-Judith (Tim). She was sister in law to Stuart, Margaret Ann, Monica, and the late Hope, and daughter-in-law to Ron and Maggi Vine, and Bruno (predeceased) and Vanessa Zatorski. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and colleagues.

As a local realtor with Re/Max for nearly three decades, she formed lifelong connections and friendships and loved her career. She enjoyed travel, fashion, interior design and always appreciated time in the garden. Cindy will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, grace, and her effortless, impeccable style.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses, doctors, and staff at PRHC for the care and genuine compassion they showed Cindy during her time in hospital. An extra special thanks to the team on B4, we will be forever grateful for their care.

Visitation will be held at Comstock- Kaye Life Celebration Centre on Friday, April 4, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM, with a tribute to Cindy at 4:00PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to PRHC Foundation in Cindy’s name.
