1927-2022
Beth passed away peacefully at home in Peterborough on February 10 after a short illness, and after a long life lived to the full. Beth was pre-deceased by her beloved husband William Lech (1991), and son John (2007) and will be remembered lovingly by her family for her endless enthusiasm, positivity, curiosity and caring. Loving mother and mother-in-law to Catharine Furrer-Lech, David Lech and Margaret Lech, Cathy Kennedy and Lynn Lech. Much loved grandmother to Duncan Furrer (Bernice), Caroline Furrer (Adrian), Philippe Furrer (Jen), Stuart Lech and Kirsten Lech.
At Beth's request, the family will hold a private celebration of life this summer at their Lech Island cottage. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff of Royal Gardens for their dedicated care. Any donations to Hospice Peterborough or to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada in Beth's memory.
