ROBSON, Barry Wayne ~ Passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2023 with his children at his side, in his 81st year. He is survived by his daughter Danielle Taylor (Michael), son Sandy Robson (Nicole) and his grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife Norma (née Hall) and his parents Albert and Hazel. Born and raised in Cobourg Ontario, Barry married his high school sweetheart Norma and built a life of travel, skiing and sunshine together. Starting out as a clerk at Dominion in high school, Barry went on to manage stores and eventually opened Valu-Mart in the north end of Peterborough. Most probably know him for his years of smiles and sales at Russelle Toyota, where he worked, six days a week until days before his passing. He will be missed by all of his friends and colleagues. Barry’s spirit and perspective on life always made the days brighter and wrongs of this world right. Forever the dreamer, he is now returned to where dreams come from. Visitation will be held at Comstock-Kaye Life Celebration Centre, 356 Rubidge St., Peterborough on Wednesday, February 15th from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. with stories and celebration at 2:00 p.m. In honour of his grandson, a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation would be appreciated.
