Samantha Marie Cozad, 20, of Toledo, Ohio, died suddenly on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. She began her amazing life on March 31, 1994, in New London, Connecticut. Samantha lived life like no other. She was giving, caring, and was always the happiest and funniest person in the room. Samantha touched every person she met in some profound way, and would not hesitate to help anyone who was in need. She was a 2012 graduate of Perrysburg High School, and went on to be an incredibly bright and proud student of the University of Toledo, majoring in Criminal Justice. Following her dream of working in Law Enforcement, she worked for The University of Toledo as a Campus Security Officer on the campus of the University of Toledo Medical Center and was a Specialist in the Ohio Army National Guard serving in the HHC Special Troops Battalion 37 Infantry Brigade Combat Team. Samantha is survived by her loving family; parents, Albert "Michael" and Cheryl E. (Conville) Cozad; brothers, Casey Michael and Dalton Garrett Cozad; grandparents, John and Bernadette Conville, John and Cynthia Cozad, and Patricia and Jack Henry. She has an even larger extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Friends will be received from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio, (419-874-3133) on Monday, November 10, 2014. A service to celebrate Samantha's incredibly bright and full life will be held at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 11, 2014.
