Colleen M. Roe

Colleen Marie Roe, 60, of Rossford, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born on May 9, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio to Floyd and Nancy (O’Brien) Roe. She was a graduate of Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio. Following high school Colleen worked for Berman Flowers, later Golden Gifts and Lane’s/ People’s Drugs

Colleen loved all things Disney especially the family trips to Disney world. Goofy was her favorite character. She never missed an episode of her favorite soap operas. Colleen had a great love for music. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her dog, Little Bit. Colleen was fondly known as Aunt Wiener among her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her loving son, Michael J. (Nicole) Roe; grandchildren, Megan, Abbey and Nicholas; brother, Jim (Lisa) Roe; nieces and nephews, Bobbi (Todd) Ferguson, David Peters, Gary (Nikki) Lanz, Derek Roe and many additional nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters Sharon Peters and Linda Lanz.

Friends will be received from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. on March 14, 2013 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E.S. Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio, 43551, 419-874-3133, where a Rosary service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on March 15, 2013 at All Saints Catholic Church, 628 Lime City Road, Rossford, Ohio, 43460. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
