Robert Eugene Alberti

Bob was born in Washington, Indiana, May 24, 1926 to Henry and Laura (Remmel) Alberti. The family moved to Peoria, Illinois in 1928. Following graduation at Woodruff High School in 1944, Bob enlisted in the Navy serving in the Pacific until he was discharged June 1, 1946.

Bob married Marjorie L. Wilson on June 15, 1946. Bob and Marge had three children, Julie (Alberti) Chase of Waldorf Maryland, Ronald Alberti of Wichita, Kansas, and Laura Alberti, of Peoria, IL. Marjorie passed away June 16, 2007. His parents and brother, William J. Alberti preceded Bob in death.

Bob is survived by his children and his 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Bob died a proud family man.

Bob joined Caterpillar Inc. in July 1946 which included residencies in Peoria, IL, York, PA, Tokyo, Japan and Grenoble, France, retiring in 1988 as Director of Overseas Manufacturing.

The family would like to thank Vitas Hospice and Manor Court of Peoria for their special care given to Bob.

Memorial services will be held at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11AM. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service. Inurnment will follow at Parkview Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Vitas Healthcare of Peoria.
