Regina "Gina" Ann Dozard

She was born on June 4, 1965 in Peoria to Norman and Judith (Lofthouse) Gibbs. Gina married Steven Dozard on November 25, 1989. He survives.

Also surviving are her children, Greg Gibbs of Peoria, and Shannon (Justin) Gibbs of Peoria; her sister, Jennifer McCune; her grandchildren, Faith Ann Marie Gibbs and Seth Michael Gibbs; her aunts and uncles, Cheryl (Darryl) Purkel, Terrie Teufel, Ron (Sue) Foster, Chris (Jack) Craddock, and Susan Morgan; her dear friend who she considered a brother, Kevin Heady; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Tony and Troy Gibbs, and her aunt Sandy Lofthouse.

Gina worked for worked for Air National Guard until their closing. She was a faithful member of Victory Baptist Church and she loved her church family dearly. Gina loved to spend time with her grandbabies, fishing, and always looked forward to any fellowship event. She was especially close with Carol Linder who donated a kidney to her several years ago. They were like sisters.

Gina's visitation will be on Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5-7pm at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Her funeral service will be the following morning at 10am on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel with a visitation to start one hour prior with Pastor Ken Linder to officiate. Cremation rites have been accorded.
