Norma I. Holmes

Norma was born February 1, 1928 in Peoria, Il the daughter of Walter & Edna Williams Swords.. She married Clarence E.. Holmes on June 26, 1948 in Peoria.

She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years; three sons, Michael (Mary) of Peoria , Gregory (Dee) of Metamora, and Timothy (Janet) of Bartonville; two daughters, Teresa (Terry) Lane of Peoria, and Lisa (David Hughes) Holmes of Bartonville; six grandchildren, Carisa Holmes, Jacob Holmes, Michelle Lane, T.J. Lane, Alexandra Lane, and Nicholas Holmes, and one great-granddaughter, Hayden Lane.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, and one sister.

She was a life long Cub Fan and an avid golfer. She loved going with family to Minnesota each year fishing.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 14, 2013 at Davison-Fulton- Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday June 13, 2013 also at the funeral Home

The family would like to thank everyone at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home for their exceptional care.

Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
