Michelle Lynne Kallister

She was born October 2, 1957 in Peoria to Patrick W. and Janet L. (Lindsay) Malone. She married Kevin Kallister on October 23, 1976 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving is one daughter, Jennifer and one son, Jeffrey both of Peoria; three brothers, James (Cathy) Malone of Peoria, Joe (Mary) Malone of Brimfield, and Michael Malone of Peoria; her father, Patrick Malone of Peoria; five nephews and three nieces.

She was preceded in death by her mother, brother Patrick Jr., and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Michelle graduated from Richwoods High School and later attended Illinois Central College’s medical assistant and nursing programs. She worked at several physician offices in Peoria showing care and compassion to the patients.

Michelle will be remembered for being a devoted, loving mother, wife, and aunt. She loved kids and often helped family and friends with childcare. Michelle was always the life of any party with her sense of humor. She loved riding her Harley and participating in charitable events.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 9, 2010 at St. Vincent Depaul Church. Msgr. Jason Gray will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 P.M., Friday at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home and one half hour prior to services on Saturday. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
