Mary Jane Leach, age 61, of Peoria, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Richard L. Owens Home in Peoria. Mary was born on November 16, 1952 in Peoria, IL to Arvin and Imogene (Jolley) Roberson. She is survived by her son, Justin Leach of Fife, WA; her sister, Shirley Shear of Oswego, NY; her brother, Aaron Roberson of Klamath Falls, OR; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Martha Roberson. Mary was a pipe fitter for Steamfitters Local 353 for several years, retiring in 2012. Her favorite pastime included long hours in her yard and garden. She also supported various charities, did local volunteer work and was committed to helping others. Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 2pm at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Richard L. Owens or IL Cancer Care.
