Loren Ray Thomas

He was born March 27, 1940 in Huntingdon, Tennessee to Isaac and Della (Allen) Thomas. He married Elaine Hartfield on September 7, 1961 in Peoria, she survives.

Loren is also survived by his children, Rick (Kris) Thomas, Randy (Yvonne) Thomas and Pam Beckman; three grandchildren, Ashley (Luke) Thomas-Hansen, Mark Thomas and Emily Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Harper and Hanna Hansen; his siblings, Carl Thomas, Carlene (Bob) Reed and Marlene (JR) Eller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Thomas and Della Like; brother, Oran Thomas.

Loren loved Jesus and by the grace of God he was saved August 13, 2015, praise Jesus! He was baptised October 4, 2015. He told everyone about Jesus Christ and was proud to be a Christian.

He loved his wife Elaine more than life itself. They had a beautiful 61 years together. He also loved his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family.

Loren also loved woodworking and gardening, he was known for growing the best tomatoes in town.

Visitation for Loren will be held Friday, June 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Eastside Bible Church, 1310 W Jefferson St., Morton, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Pastor Steven Weber will officiate.

Following services, lunch will be served by the church. Private entombment will take place after the luncheon.
