Kay I. Landreth, age 78, of Peoria, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022, at 1:03 p.m. at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria. She was born Oct. 7, 1943, in Peoria to Cecil and Harriet (Teager) Wood.
Kay worked for the United States Post Office in the Remote Encoding Center for several years. She was also a Supervisor for Ruppman Marketing, and at Caterpillar as a key punch operator. She is survived by one brother, Tommy Wood of Pekin. She also has several nieces and nephews in the area.
She was preceded by her father Cecil Wood, her mother Harriet Wood (Teager), and two older brothers Edward Wood, and Robert Wood.
Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2022, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Cremation rites will be accorded following the visitation.
Entombment will be in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum in Peoria at a later date.
