Born September 23, 1955 in Charleston to James and Margaret (Adair) Hopper; he married Trina St. Clair on October 31, 1976 in Charleston.
Surviving are his wife, Trina Hopper of Glasford; children, Jenifer (Joshua) Clark of Mapleton, IL, Jeff (April Taylor) Hopper of Pekin, IL, and John (Nicole) Stewart of Charleston IL; and seven grandchildren, Cameron Clark, Awna Hopper, Colin Hopper, Jade Hutchcraft, Skylar Stewart, Rian Stewart and Keegan Stewart.
Jeff was a custodian, recently retiring from Illini Bluffs High School.
He loved watching football, supporting local youth football, wrestling, documentaries and tv programs. He especially enjoyed watching his talented grandkids perform many activities.
Cremation has been accorded by Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria, IL.
