Janet Fay Holloway

She was born October 22, 1946 to Arthur and Jesse (Morrey) Hardwick in Fiatt, Illinois. Janet married Wayne Holloway on September 10, 1967, they had three children Michelle Holloway, Allison Holloway and Adam Holloway; one grandchild Harrison Holloway Frampton.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and eldest daughter, Michelle.

Janet graduated from Cuba High School and Midstate Business College, she worked for Equitable Life Insurance for 10 years and then started her family. Janet loved her children and loved her grandson, Harrison. Her family was her life. Janet was a loving and kind person, she saw good in everyone and lived her whole life that way.

She was blessed with having two very close friends. Jeanie Stortz of Chicago and Brenda Voisinet of Bloomington. Janet considered Jeanie and Brenda as sisters, they all loved her very much. She will be missed beyond measure.

Visitation will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 4 – 6 p.m. at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, Peoria. Memorial service will immediately follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Jack Thompson officiating.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorial contributions may be made in Janet’s name to Illinois CancerCare or OSF Hospice.
