Donna C Durkin

Peoria – Donna C. Durkin, 82, of West Greenbrier, Peoria, passed away at 6:06 AM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Manor Court in Peoria. She was born on January 13, 1933 in Peoria to Russell and Ethel Gray Wallace.

Donna is survived by two daughters Lori and Linda Durkin both of Peoria; and one brother Dave (Joyce) Wallace of Peoria. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Chad Durkin, (who was the light of her life), her parents and one sister, Delores Bryant.

She had been an executive secretary at Caterpillar, retiring in 1995. Before this she had worked for United Airlines, Ruppman Marketing and WMBD. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She volunteered at Proctor Hospital and Red Cross.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Rev. Ted Benson will officiate. Friends may call upon the family for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the DAV, Haitian Hearts, or Boys Town.
