Delores Rudloff "Dee Dee"

Peoria Heights- Delores J. “Dee Dee” Rudloff, 88 of Peoria Heights, formerly of 7006 West Pottstown Rd, Peoria, passed away at 12:18 pm Friday, January 2, 2015 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born February 26, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri to Henry H. and Josephine (Steigler) Hagemann. She married Robert Rudloff on August 31, 1946 in Peoria. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2009 in Peoria.

Also preceding in death were her son Thomas Robert Rudloff; her twin sister, Doris Ruble and sister Geraldine Hagemann; and her brother, Donald Hagemann.

Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Sharon Rudloff of Peoria; her granddaughter, Samantha Rudloff; nephew, Robert (Teresa) Ruble of Sanford, NC; niece Pam (Earl) Swanson of Peoria; and several great nieces and nephews.

Dee Dee was a supportive farmer’s wife working alongside her husband on their farm near Pottstown.

She was a member of the Peoria County Farm Bureau and avid player of Bingo, bowling and enjoyed playing the piano.

She was devout in her Catholic faith.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Peoria. Father Terry Cassidy will celebrate the mass. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Peoria. Visitation will be from 9:00-9:45 am Tuesday at the church prior to services.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
