He was born April 4, 1996 in Peoria to Michael Anderson and Kristi Ashurst.
Chase is survived by his parents Michael and Kristi and step-dad Kevin; his fiancé Amber Long; three step-children, MaKenna, Bristol, Aubree and one son, Noah; one brother, Kaden Gualandi; his grandmothers, Vicki Ashurst and Diana Gualandi; grandfather, Richard Ashurst; his best friend “brother” Ethan Baker and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather’s, Larry Gualandi and Richard Anderson; grandmother, Cathy Pittman.
Chase was known for his immense heart and genuine kindness. His love for his children was the cornerstone of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Chase's affection extended to his beloved dogs, Avery, Ava, and Remi, who were not just pets but cherished companions.
Spending time with family was paramount to Chase. Whether it was a cozy dinner, a family outing, or simply gathering around for laughter and conversation, he valued these moments dearly.
His kind-hearted nature, and his deep commitment to his family and friends will forever be remembered.
Chase was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals and Detroit Lions fan. Chase developed an enthusiasm for sports, finding immense joy in watching games and participating in them. His love for boxing was evident, both as an avid spectator and a skilled practitioner.
Chase's departure leaves a void in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His generosity, his passion for sports, his genuine care for his loved ones, and his unwavering spirit will remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate to share in his journey.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at The Encounter Church, East Peoria from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. the funeral service will immediately follow. Pastor Tracey Pfeiffer will officiate. Friends and family are invited to wear St. Louis Cardinals clothing in support of Chase’s favorite team. The family wishes to extend an invitation to family and friends to stay for a meal following the funeral service.
