Charles “Chuck” Robison, 88, of Dunlap, passed away at 5:45 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2014 at Unity Point Methodist in Peoria. He was born September 24, 1925 in Peoria, IL to Michael E. and Goldie M. Robison. He married Joan Cox in Peoria on June 11, 1949. She preceded him in death on November 9, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Richard and Delmar. Surviving are his 2 children, Rob (Marsha) Robison of the Quad Cities, Cyndy (Roger) Northrop of the Twin Cities, MN; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Chuck owned and operated City Blueprint and Supply Company in Peoria for many years before retiring. Chuck was a United States World War II Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Peoria Masonic Lodge, the Mohammed Temple Shrine, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Peoria, and Northminster Presbyterian Church. He loved to hunt, fish and play golf and played in his church golf league. Funeral Services for Chuck will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Pastor Michael Shirey will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., Friday at the Church. Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria. Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to his church or American Heart Association.
