Betty Louise Feinholz

Betty was born on December 16, 1925 in Peoria, IL to George W. and Irene (Herr) Sommer. She married Robert F. Feinholz on July 31, 1948 in Peoria. He preceded her in death in December of 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her children, Robert J. (Linda) Feinholz of Scottsdale, AZ, Debra I. (Richard) Thulean of Peoria, IL and Randy E. (Laura) Feinholz of Peoria, IL; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Shirley Walden also of Peoria. Betty resided for the last year at Liberty Village in Peoria where she made many good friends.

Betty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards, games and doing puzzles along with the many years of dancing with her husband, Bob. Betty was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and Peoria and she was data processor for IPLA for 15 years, retiring in 1986.

Cremation Rites will be accorded and a memorial Mass will be held on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11am Holy Family Church in Peoria with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Father Patrick Stoffer will be officiating. Inurnment will be held at Resurrection Mausoleum at a later date. Memorials may be made to Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria. Arrangements were handled by Davison-Fulton Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home in Peoria.
