She was born July 20, 1925 in Peoria to Richard and Marie (Schoch) Brown. She married Roland “Bud” Anderson on Jan. 27, 1946 in Peoria. He passed away Jan. 31, 2011 in Metamora. She is also preceded in death by her parents, her step-father, Roland Edwards, and two sisters: Rita Sprouse and Joan Moreland.
Survivors include three sons: Ross (Louise) Anderson of Shelby, OH, Dean (Theresa) Anderson of Eureka, David (Rhonda) Anderson of Metamora, one daughter, Cynthia Anderson of Peoria, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one brother, Richard Brown of Webster, WI.
Betty worked for many years at Dynamic Graphics and then at OSF St Francis Medical Center for 12 years retiring in 1990. She was a longtime member of Grace Presbyterian church and was very active in the church Choir and the Women’s Prayer Group. Betty and Bud enjoyed going on many overseas Mission trips with the church.
Funeral services will be Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Grace Presbyterian Church in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to the Rural Home Missionary Association in Morton or Grace Presbyterian Church.
