She was born April 1, 1916 in Eldorado, a daughter of Roy and Mary Ellen Dunne Moore. She married Harry Gaskins in 1937 they later divorced.
Surviving are three children, Tom (Marge) Gaskins of Calf., Beth Ann (Judd) Baumann of Springfield, and Karen “Becky” (Lonnie “Bill”) Davies of Peoria; six grandchildren, Jon Gaskins, Jay Gaskins, Kip Baumann, Rebecca Davies Katz, Kirk Baumann, and Julie Davies; four great-grandchildren, Christopher, Victoria “Tori”, Anna Grace, and Isabella; one sister, Pat Frohock of Eldorado; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Anna Grace first worked as a telephone operator, and later in the mail room at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria, she continued working there for 27 years and retired as the head of the print shop.
She was a member of United Methodist Women, Peoria Christian Women’s Club, Methodist Retiree’s Club, and Peoria First United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, quilting, traveling with her family, and loved to take early morning walks on Daytona Beach.
A private memorial service will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Cremation rites will be accorded.
