Taylor Kilgore passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 09, 2018 due to health conditions at 94 years old. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 46 wonderful years Ileen Kilgore; his children, Peter Kilgore, Pam (Mack) Morris, William Kagarise, Ronda Kagarise, Ronnie Kagarise, Mechele “Sissy” Kagarise; grandchildren, Paige Graves, Andrew (Lindsey) Kilgore, Samantha (Lee) Goodale, Tyler “Teet” Kagarise; great grandchildren Kolton Goodale, & June Kilgore.
He is preceded in death by his son, Terry Kilgore; his dad and mom, George & Minnie Kilgore; ten brothers; one sister and daughter-in-law, Merry Kilgore.
He was born and raised in Bluewater AL. After serving in WWII where he served in the Battle of the Bulge and served under Patton, he moved to the Northwest FL area. He served as a deputy for the Escambia County Sherriff’s Office, managed The Ranch Drive In Theater and had a long term career as a Ford mechanic. He was well loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family here on Earth but will be welcomed home with many open arms.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, 3351 Scenic Highway, Pensacola. Inurnment will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery.
