Richard T. Douglas, Lt .Col, USMC, Retired, passed away, Thursday, September
2, 2010. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on October 4, 1930.
Mr. Douglas retired from the United States Marine’s as a pilot.
He is preceded in death by his parents Martha and Thayer Douglas, two
sisters; Pat Douglas and Jenny Burtnett.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Hallie Lavender Douglas
Sister; Nacy Shrp (Walt) of New Albandy, Ohio, Nieces; Stephanie Sharp of
Columbus, Ohio and Elizabeth Ann Burtnett of Morris Chapel, Tennessee
and Nephew; Douglas Sharp of Pickerington, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at
Oak Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September
8, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with interment to follow
At Barrancas National Cemetery.
