Orin was born on February 24, 1940 to Leverne and Olive Kanzigg in Pensacola, Florida. He served in the Air Force from February 18, 1959 to February 17, 1965. From there he went to work at Monsanto where he retired as a Chemical Operator in 1996. Orin was happily married to Peggy Robinson, who was his partner in life starting September 12, 1959. He often joked that he had been kissing her since she was 12 years old and tried his best to raise her right!
Orin is survived by his wife Peggy Kanzigg, son Clayton Kanzigg, daughter Ann Stokes, brother Johnny Kanzigg, one granddaughter, one grandson, five great grandsons, along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and mother Leverne and Olive Kanzigg, sisters Donna Jester and Ruth Page, and his granddaughter Deborah Clecker.
Orin was a devoted family man and an avid Ham Radio operator. He was also a devoted Christian who would preach the word of God to any one that was willing to listen. When he would go to lunch and see kids playing, he would ask their parents if he could sit and tell their children a story about Jesus. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
