1940 – 2014
Myrtle “Sally” Way, 73, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, July 02, 2014. Sally was born December 28, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother and great- grandmother who was known for her feisty nature. Some of her passions included weaving, pottery making and photography. She was a member of the local Hand Weaver’s Guild and taught weaving to many students. She was a member of the Red Hat’s Society for many years and shared her sense of humor with anyone she met.
Sally is survived by her husband of 55 years, William Way of Milton; son, Michael Way of Milton; daughter, Leslie Long of Pensacola; brothers, Ed Jackson of Georgia, Stanley Jackson of Washington and Danny Wood of Washington; sisters, Becky Welch of California and Shirley Sneed of Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Post, Christopher Way, Savannah Way and Bobby Way all of Pensacola; great granddaughter, Kenadie Post.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 07, 2014 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday.
