1943-2018
Mary Elouise (Sanders) Cotton passed away on October 3, 2018. She was born on October 13, 1943 in Molino, Florida.
Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren swimming in the pool and spoiling them in every way she could.
No matter what your term for her--Mom, Nana, Aunt or Sister--she was truly one of a kind. It saddens everyone to see her go, yet happy to know the world is a better place with her memory in it. This is a time to celebrate her life and going home where she will have all of her memories returned with no pain or sorrow.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ernest (Eddie/Ernie) D. Cotton; parents: John M. and Willie May Sanders: sisters: Martha Brannon, Jean Stone; brothers: Clarence Sanders, JP Sanders and Bill Sanders.
She is survived by her two sons: Eddie E. Cotton and wife, Lisa of Martinsville VA, Randall D. Cotton and wife, Lindsey of Mobile AL; grandchildren: Holly Tubbs, Tyler Cotton, Zachary D. Cotton, Naomi Floyd and Jadin Cotton; great-grandchildren: Chloe and Michael; brother, WC Sanders and wife, Ethel of Pensacola and sister Betty Alexander of Pensacola.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service, officiated by Rev. Doug Sanders.
Interment will follow at Eastern Gates Memorial Gardens.
